Information Models

Tele-Cardiology is a healthcare system that enables delivery of remote cardiology specific health services using technology. This service helps eliminate distance barriers and improves access to medical services that would often not be consistently available in distant rural communities. It also creates a platform for healthcare providers to share experiences and educate themselves.
 
Tele-Cardiology framework consist of the following:
  • Patients and physician at the point-of-care. 
  • Communication infrastructure
  • Remote monitoring

The following information models represent different aspects of a Tele-Cardiology Service. These models, represented in UML (Unified Modeling Language),  can be customized and extended if needed.
